Saint Francis of Assisi is the PATRON OF ANIMALS AND THE ENVIRONMENT. His famous “Canticle of the Creatures”, written between 1225 and 1226, is considered the first poem in the Italian language. It is recognized as "the most beautiful piece of religious poetry after the Gospels" and "the most complete and lyrical expression of the soul and spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi."

 

This rosary bracelet contains a variety of semi-precious stones such as faceted crystals, druzy, hematites, jaspers, glass, dyed howlites, mother-of-pearls and agates. Enameled metals and original Italian Saint Francis of Assisi medal. Each element of this bracelet  is dedicated to each of the parts of the Canticle of the Creatures of Saint Francis of Assisi, culminating with a brown agate in honor of the Saint and all the Franciscan brothers .  Color explanatory brochure included.
