Even before Jesus was born, Joseph showed great faith during the pregnancy of Mary and courage in protecting his unborn son from Herod. A carpenter by trade, Joseph is the patron saint of workers. And, having died with Mary and Jesus by his side, he is also the patron saint of a happy death.
